Bookworms: Love Triangles Vinyl 12

This is a key repress of the in - demand white label from Ron Morelli's Long Island Electrical Systems. Bookworms' 'Love Triangles' 12 - inch vinyl made a big splash when it was released in 2012. Original copies could sell for over $100 on the used market. Fortunately, L.I.E.S. repressed this great record, so you can save money. The title track begins simply as chord stabs build on one another. With repetition, there are subtle changes as samples come and go. What really caught everyone's eye when it first came out is the flip - side track 'African Rhythms'. It starts with a percussion loop, gradually joined by sampled strings and a bit of chanting. The kick never fully drops, and the rhythm will stay in your head long after the track ends. It's an addictive mix that will make you want more. Highly recommended.
