Description

Portishead is a unique player in the sampling culture that started in the 80s and later dominated hip - hop. Their album Dummy gave new life to forgotten music elements. Beth Gibbons, with her iconic voice reminiscent of Billie Holiday and Sandy Denny, takes center - stage naturally. Rustin' Man, an alias of Paul Webb from Talk Talk, is also an accomplished musician. Their collaboration on Out of Season is both surprising and somewhat expected. Originally released in 2002 and out of print soon after, this album is a rare gem for fans. Tracks like “Mysteries” start with somber acoustic strums and Gibbons' sharp voice, “Romance” features Gibbons over delicate strings and thumping brass, and “Tom The Model” has slow - mo bass vibrations. This album showcases Gibbons at her rawest and bleakest, offering a cathartic experience from the first listen. Pressed on black vinyl with a printed inner sleeve containing full lyrics. It's a limited - edition, one - off collaboration between a Portishead singer and a Talk Talk bassist, making its vinyl debut after nearly 20 years. Music label: Go! Beat 2019.

To enjoy this vinyl LP, first, make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition. Gently place the vinyl on the turntable, align the spindle with the center hole. Carefully lower the tonearm onto the record at the start of the first track. Sit back and relax as you listen to the unique sounds of Beth Gibbons and Rustin' Man. When you're done, gently lift the tonearm and return it to its rest position. Then, carefully remove the vinyl from the turntable and place it back in its sleeve. Keep the vinyl in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent warping. Avoid touching the playing surface with your fingers to prevent dirt and oil from affecting the sound quality. If the vinyl gets dirty, you can use a vinyl cleaning brush to gently remove dust and debris.
