Anthony Naples: Body Pill Vinyl LP

Anthony Naples makes his mark on his debut full - length album, Body Pill. From his early work on Mister Saturday Night and Trilogy Tapes, he's won over many fans, and this new album on Four Tet's Text label is set to keep the momentum going. The album surprises with its diversity. Opener 'Ris' starts as an ambient piece and then transitions into a synth - pop strut. 'Abrazo' has echoes of Andres, with strings taking a synthetic turn. There are also experimental electronic moments, like 'Pale' with its glassy synths and sub - heavy bass. 'Way Stone' features twee arpeggios, and 'Used To Be' offers proto - dub pop. This is a great album for a rising producer. It comes as a black vinyl pressing from Text Records in 2015. Reviewed by Joey Coco in March 2015.

Using this vinyl LP is easy. Just place it on your record player, gently drop the needle on the starting groove, and enjoy the music. When handling the vinyl, make sure your hands are clean to avoid getting fingerprints on it, which could affect the sound quality.
