Mac Miller's 2015 third studio album and first for a major label, 'GO:OD AM', shows a positive shift. In the Tyler, the Creator - produced 'Doors', he raps about being in a better place. This positive attitude shines throughout. Different from his previous works on depression and addiction, the production here, though still a bit melancholic, loses the dark cloud. Must - listen tracks include '100 Grandkids', 'Brand Name', and 'Clubhouse'. 'Weekend' with Miguel is a great example of the album's cautiously optimistic tone.
