Description

In 2017, when this amazing vinyl first hit the shelves at our Lab HQ, we couldn't stop playing it. Within a week, every employee had a copy. It was a huge hit at our 10th Street store, a secret nod among music lovers. This double LP comes in a heavy - duty tip - on gatefold with stunning cover art by Heisuke Kitazawa. The liner notes are incredibly detailed, and there's a traditional obi strip. Light In The Attic presents an outstanding collection of rare Japanese folk and rock from 1969 - 1973. This was the era of the 'angura' movement, which transformed Japanese music and led to 'New Music.' Highlights include tracks from Fumio Nunoya, Gu, Tetsuo Saito, Hachimitsu Pie, and Happy End. It's the first fully - licensed release of these angura gems for Western audiences. The clear and pink marble - colored vinyl is housed in a deluxe Stoughton tip - on jacket with an obi strip. There's also a full - color booklet with liner notes and bios by Yosuke Kitazawa and Jake Orrall. Turntable Lab exclusive! Limit 1 per customer. Music label: Light In The Attic 2021, TTL Editions 056.

Using this vinyl is easy. Just place it on your turntable, gently drop the needle on the groove, and enjoy the beautiful Japanese folk and rock music. When handling the vinyl, make sure your hands are clean to avoid leaving fingerprints or dirt on the surface. Store it in a cool, dry place, standing upright to prevent warping. If you notice any dust on the vinyl, use a soft anti - static brush to clean it before playing. And remember, this is a Turntable Lab exclusive with a limit of 1 per customer, so handle it with care and cherish this unique piece of music history.
