Description

Six months ago, everyone knew Kanye's album was going to be a big deal. Since the buzz about his solo work started, he's regularly produced huge and innovative hits like Talib's 'Get By,' Luda's 'Stand Up,' and Alicia's 'You Don't Know My Name.' With all the pre - released tracks leaked, it was clear this would be a hit. But I'm still amazed at how great it is - easily in the top 5 of last year. Apart from The Black Album, The College Dropout is the first hip - hop record in a long time that I can listen to over and over. There are about 16 full tracks, and not a single one is a filler. The beats are outstanding on every track, which is rare these days. Even the skits are really good. Kanye might not be the best lyricist and borrows from others' styles a bit, but he can rap and is more innovative than you'd think. Right now, I'm really into the next single, 'All Falls Down,' which reinterprets Lauryn's vocals. It's like a male version of The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill! Other great tracks include 'Breathe In Breathe Out' with Luda, which should be a club hit, and '2 Words' with Mos Def & Freeway, as hot as it was last year on the white label. 'Get Em High' with Talib Kweli & Common is also amazing, and 'Jesus Walks' is really ambitious. Previous singles 'Slow Jamz' and 'Through The Wire' are also included. There are 21 tracks in total. This is a black double vinyl pressing with a printed insert, released by Roc - A - Fella in 2004.

To use this vinyl record, first make sure your record player is clean and in good working condition. Place the record gently on the turntable, aligning the center hole with the spindle. Lower the tonearm carefully onto the edge of the record. As the record plays, enjoy the rich, warm sound that vinyl offers. When you're done, lift the tonearm gently and place it back in its rest. Then, carefully remove the record from the turntable. Keep the record in its sleeve when not in use to protect it from dust and scratches. Store it in a cool, dry place, standing upright to prevent warping. Avoid touching the playing surface of the record with your fingers to prevent oil and dirt from getting on it. If the record gets dirty, you can use a record cleaning brush to gently clean the grooves. Remember, proper care will ensure your vinyl record lasts a long time and continues to sound great.
