Get ready to groove with this heavy blaxploitation soundtrack from James Brown. It's straight from the early 70s, featuring a righteous theme song and some seriously funky support tracks. In 'Transmograpfication', James Brown creates a more subdued yet funky sound. 'Happy for the Poor' is a cool twist on JB's popular 45 'Gimmie Some More'. You'll be surprised to hear JB add some latin flavor in dance classics like 'To My Brother' and 'Really Really Really'. While it may not have a standout track like 'Blind Man Can See' on 'Black Caesar', it's a solid listen from start to finish. This is an official 2018 Polydor pressing with a tip - on gatefold jacket.
