Listening to Ichiko Aoba is like stepping into an intimate yet vast cosmic world. Her latest album, Luminescent Creatures, marks the peak of her 15 - year career. During this time, she's collaborated with Japanese greats like Ryuichi Sakamoto, Haruomi Hosono, and Cornelius. On this album, she skillfully combines the jazz - infused folk of her early works with the orchestral grandeur of her 2020 album Windswept Adan. Luminescent Creatures is all about making connections against all odds. The sea, vast and ancient, holds memories of our planet. Ichiko says, 'When I look into the trench's black depths, I see rainbow - colored lifeforms blinking.' They communicate in a universal way. This black vinyl pressing, from the music label Psychic Hotline 2025, also includes a large foldout poster.

To use this vinyl LP, first, make sure your record player is clean and in good working condition. Gently place the vinyl on the turntable, center it, and then lower the needle carefully onto the record. Enjoy the music! When you're done listening, lift the needle gently and turn off the record player. To keep the vinyl in good shape, always hold it by the edges to avoid fingerprints on the playing surface. Store it upright in a cool, dry place. Don't stack too many records on top of it to prevent warping. If the vinyl gets dirty, you can use a soft, anti - static record brush to clean it gently.
