Description

It's an epic encounter of jazz funk maestros on vinyl! Herbie Hancock teams up with the legendary Weather Report bassist Jaco Pastorius. Recorded at Chicago's Ivanhoe Theater on February 16, 1977, this live album is a masterpiece of fusion. Along with Bennie Maupin on tenor sax and bass clarinet, and James Levi on drums, they start with a fantastic version of the Headhunters' 'Chameleon'. Then they explore classic Herbie material like 'Maiden Voyage' and Maupin's 'It Remains to Be Seen'. This 180 - gram vinyl has a digitally remastered sound. Features include 180 - gram vinyl pressing, remastered sound, and it's from the Hi Hat music label in 2016. Reviewed by Neck Cork in 04/2016.

To enjoy this 180g vinyl LP, first, make sure your record player is clean and in good working condition. Place the vinyl gently on the turntable, align the needle carefully, and start playing. When not in use, store the vinyl in its sleeve and keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid touching the playing surface with your fingers to prevent dirt and oils from affecting the sound. If you notice any dust on the vinyl, use a soft, anti - static brush to clean it before playing. This album is a precious jazz fusion record, so handle it with care to keep it in great shape for years to come.
