It seems Goitia Deitz bless us with one release each year. This Brooklyn - based duo is back at Cut Mistake Music with the EP 'MODE'. It shows the development of their kraut - inspired cosmic sound. They're more confident exploring music fringes this time. As the EP progresses, it touches on house, techno, no - wave, and ambient textures. 'New Horizons' starts with their signature motorik pulse, almost like a farewell to their past work. 'Sunday Shimmer' is driven steadily by bass, offering a more futuristic sound. 'Falling Again' takes on house in a new way for Goitia Deitz, being straightforward and full of energy. Bass and chord stabs bring the dancefloor to life, with percussion perfect for extended play.
