100% Electronica maestro George Clanton breaks new ground in the vaporwave scene. On the landmark record Slide, Clanton, formerly known as Esprit ¿ÕÏë and Mirror Kisses, abandons pitched - down funk. He draws inspiration from TRL - era bands like Third Eye Blind and Tonic, the breakbeats of Stone Roses, the sound of Boards Of Canada, and even American Football. Harsh noise, breakbeats, indie guitars, analog brass, and Clanton's longing vocals blend beautifully, similar to the new Yves Tumor record. Highlights are “Dumb,” “You Lost Me There,” “Walk Slowly,” and “Make It Forever.” This is a limited edition of 1000 on blue & white split colored vinyl, released by 100% Electronica in 2021.
