It has since diversified into Vaporwave, New Age Pop, Future Funk, and now Dream VGM, music fitting the Clinton era. Equip's CURSEBREAKER X draws inspiration from the overall vibe of late 80's to mid - 90's console games. Tracks like “Cemetery Moonglow” blend sequenced bass, catchy synths, and wonky digital sax. “Nocturne Catacombs” is moody with twinkling synths and digital percussion. “Shadow Dancer” starts with digital piano and drums, then adds glitchy distortion and synth leads.
