Description

This is a funky and experimental library record from a king of 1950s Exotica. German - born Eddie Warner was well - known for his diverse musical styles like various jazz and Latin dance music such as mambo, bachata, and cha - cha. He also delved into library music and electronic experimentalism. His 1968 release, Progressive Percussions, is a funk - filled masterpiece with freaky electronics and free - form psychedelic elements. The heavy drums and tight grooves even show hints of later German music pioneers like Kraftwerk, NEU!, or Cluster. It's no wonder original copies are rare. Music labels: L'Illustration Musicale 1968 / Fifth Dimension 2015. Reviewed by Hank Ohs 06/2015.

To enjoy this vinyl LP, first, make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition. Gently place the record on the turntable and use the tonearm to drop the needle at the start of the groove. Sit back and let the funky beats and experimental sounds fill your room. When handling the record, always hold it by the edges to avoid getting fingerprints on the grooves, as this can affect the sound quality. After use, store the vinyl in its sleeve and keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent warping. If you notice any dust on the record, use a proper vinyl cleaning brush to gently remove it before playing again.
