Sacramento's Dance Gavin Dance has been in the music scene for years, enduring multiple lineup changes. They've firmly stuck to their trademark post - hardcore style, taking an indie - rock - inspired approach, unlike some of their emo and screamo contemporaries. On 'Instant Gratification', the band alternates between screamed and cleaner vocals with intense passion, perfectly matched by the melodic instrumentation, especially the guitars. Listen to Jon and Tilian's vocals on the chorus of 'Variation' and you'll be blown away. This release features an oxblood vinyl pressing and comes with a CD version of the album. For the CD, use a soft, lint - free cloth to wipe it from the center outwards.
