Description

Get your hands on the sixth studio album from San Antonio's Butthole Surfers. 'Independent Worm Saloon' originally came out in 1993 and marked the band's debut on Capitol Records. After their previous label, Rough Trade, folded, major labels vied for them, hoping to find the next Nirvana. They signed with Capitol, and Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones produced the album. Thanks to Jones, this album is a bit more straightforward than their earlier works, and it spawned their first minor radio hit, 'Who Was in My Room Last Night'. It has a touch of Gibby Haynes' collaboration with Ministry in 'Jesus Built My Hot Rod', yet it has its own unique charm. The album features 17 tracks like 'The Annoying Song', 'The Ballad of Naked Man', 'Alcohol', and 'Strawberry'. It's a 180-gram vinyl release by Plain Recordings. Music label: Capitol Records 1993 / Plain Recordings 2015. Reviewed by green jello 08/2015.

Using this vinyl LP is easy. Just place it on your turntable, gently drop the needle on the starting groove, and enjoy the music. When handling the vinyl, make sure your hands are clean to avoid getting dirt or oils on the record. Keep the vinyl in its sleeve when not in use to protect it from dust and scratches. Store it vertically in a cool, dry place. If the record gets dirty, you can use a vinyl cleaning brush to gently clean the grooves. Don't use harsh chemicals as they can damage the vinyl. Enjoy your listening experience with this great album from Butthole Surfers!
