Using your Audio - Technica VM520EB cartridge is easy. First, use the included 4 installation screws, 2 washers, and 2 hexagon nuts to mount the pre - installed cartridge on your turntable. Make sure to set the tracking force between 1.8 - 2.2g, with 2.0g as the standard setting. When you start using it, don't expect the best sound right away. The sound quality will improve as the cartridge breaks in. Keep in mind that this cartridge is not for DJ use. As for maintenance, since a replacement stylus is available, check the stylus regularly for wear and tear. If it's worn out, replace it promptly. Also, be careful with the exterior packaging as it might be damaged in the open - box deal, but the cartridge itself has been tested and is in near - mint condition.
